The Food Allergy Support Group of Tidewater (FASGOT) offers support, friendship and resources to families managing food allergies in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. We host support meetings, play groups and other social events designed to offer local families the opportunity to connect with one another. Through these events we also hope to increase education and awareness of food allergy in our community.
Our group is continually growing and we invite you to take part in all of our meetings and events. We meet at CHKD (Norfolk) five times a year.
Our members include families with food allergic children of all ages, medical providers and educational staff. We invite anyone interested in receiving or sharing information on managing food allergies. FASGOT strives to advocate for our children. Our goal is to provide a place that information can be exchanged to keep our children safe. This organization recognizes that with the right plan, children with food allergies can do anything!
We offer 5 meetings a year with expert speakers. Parent (Meet and Cheat) dinners, a playgroup, Teen meetings and many other events.
